Hi all in IBANEZ land from London,UK.

I'm about to sell my Ibanez Destroyer DT555, and thought I would contact the people really interested first.

Often, and ebay etc, we see Destroyer DT555 being advertised as the Phil Collen model. As we all know, there is NO such guitar. Phil played DT555 for a several years which he advertised back 1984/85. As a result, any one with a black Destroyer 3 P/U Destroyer, bolt-on or set neck automatically thinks it becomes a Phil Collen model....er no. Phil's were the top of range DT555, set neck, cream binding,3 P/U,artist inlays and Ibanez floyd style trem (non-locking).

Phil had those guitars totally customised. I researched the work he had done, and had the same work on mine by one of the UKs finest guitar builders.

It is STUNNING! The old trem cavaties, both top and bottom of body were plugged, filled and sanded before being re-routed for the a Kahler Flyer. ( I have all the work in progress pics )The re-spray is like black glass. Awesome. The Kahler is brand new olod stock I sourced from a collector in CA,USA. The only difference is I chose to have all chrome hardware, as gold suffers corrosion and looks awful after a while.

So, at last, a Destroyer DT555 that can lay claim to being Phil Collen spec is up for sale. Good enough for Mr. Collen himself, this plays like butter.

I'm open to serious offers. You know how Ibanez older models are now creeping up in value. I know there a Destroyer collectors that will want this one. My e-mail is lambchop622@hotmail.com

Thanks..........great web site.[/i]
