just wondering if these are good basses for an intermediate player. i really like the look of this bass in the transparent red sunburst finish, but i dont know how good the quality is. also, would this bass serve me well in a band scenario, and is it a good bass for hardrock/metal?

any help would be appreciated. cheers.
