Hey dude, wazzup? Do you know or remember the Ibanez Vintage site where you can look up serial info and stuff. I thought you told us about it at one time, maybe not, but I thought so.

I just got a new Ibanez Artstar AS-80(blonde)(I'm guessing made in '94') because it has the old headstock from the earlier Artstars. It looks just like this one except for the color(and mine is an AS-80, blonde):

The Serial # on mine is S4070663 and is made in Korea. I found a place that tells you how to date artstars, but there are to many numbers on mine it seems. Any help is appreciated.

I used to have the As-120 with the newer headstock(Kind of gibson shape), but had round bouts(like the Gibsons ES 335) instead of pointy ones like on the last ones they made. And it was a 96'.

Also, you say you have your Digitech pedals on sale because of closeout, how much , or how about the Digitech Whammi's? Do you have any, what would your price be?

Hey bro, nice to hear from you.
I do remember mentioning the Ibanez vintage site...
Wow, that was long ago.
Yeah- Jim Donahue formerly of Ibanez owned that. But I think he closed shop on the vintage stuff because of his newer biz where he is a manufacturer... Mostly inexpensive items mass produced but still making a good living. That's the last I knew of what he was up to.
If there's no where on the web about his old site, id say its gone.
and im sure he sold out of mostly all those old parts as well.

Serial number you are correct on. it is a 94 model. Dont be concerned with too many numbers... all that means is you have a guitar that was highly produced...

Digitech wise, I have no Whammy pedals left. I have about 1-2 of mostly everything else though.
Please let me know if you have anything else you are interested in.
Thanks

Scott
