Just grabbed a well-seasoned SR300 series bass. I'm having a hard time finding a match in any of the old catalogs, and I can't figure out what one of the control knobs does.
On the back of the headstock, it reads:
SR 300B DX
C 00032031
Made in Korea
The body and hardware (tuners, knobs, bridge, pickups) are all black. There are four control knobs. The upper two seem to be volume for the neck and bridge PUs. The lower forward knob seems to be some sort of bass boost. The lower rear knob I cannot figure out. Any help with this would be great!
Also, I'm guessing that this is a 2000 model...right?
Thanks! |

we have similar serial codes, my first numbers are 001 instead of 000 so i think its a 2000 model. the 4 knobs be simple. the smallest one at the top of the diamond formation is master volume control. the two larger ones in the middle are from left to right bass and treble, and the bottom is phat bass boost. _________________ my other ride is your mom! |
