|
|
I have an S1 from an RG series.
Then I also have a single coil from a S470 FM. An AS1.
Do these sound the same? I play modern music. The single coil is going to be paired with a Dimarzio Humbucker from Hell in the Neck, and the Dimarzio Evolution in the bridge. ALL put in a mint condition S540LTD black.
And if anybody knows how in the *Golly Gee* world you're supposed to wire a VLX91 5 way switch please enlighten me.
I might just go with a three way switch, leave the single coil out, and play with two humbuckers. |

Okay, I looked at the diagrams. The Ibanez diagram sucks. Well, I just don't understand a couple of things. If you look at it, the picture of the switch from the vlx91 side, it's on the left of the two pics of the switch, there is a line at the bottom of the switch, it seems to be connecting the two bottom spaces on the switch. *What the Heck* is that?
So I looked at the other diagram too. Only prob is that I have a different switch. I actually have another switch it's a four way switch. Weird huh?
Should I just get a new 5 way switch that isn't as complicated as the *Golly Gee* 24 space VLX 91?
All I want to really do is blend the two humbuckers at one of the switch points. I am starting to lose faith. |
