What's up everyone? I've got a question.

I've had an Ibanez SR05 for a few years now and have just now really gotten into playing it. I bought it used from a store in Phoenix, AZ and really know nothing about it whatsoever. I've gathered so far that it was made around 87-89, but aside from that, I know nothing.

How much did it cost originally? What are the specs (woods, bridge, etc). Any other info. would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

hello, you mean Ibanez SR 505 or some older kind of SR series? If it's SR505 (Wenge/bubinga neck, mahogany body Bartolini PUPs), how is it? In few months, I want to buy a new Ibanez and I choose between BTB405 and SR 505. can you give me some experiences, please?

i totally dig my BTB's..... much better for larger hands than the SR basses..... not to mention extended scale and an awesome midrange EQ.......(400 series)

the 1000 series is even better with fancier woods and bartolini PUPs and electronics
