OK, so we've been down a while. Slowly but surley everyone is coming back, though. Check in and tell us what's been going on. As for me, well...

I'm still taking lessons and working on cleaning up my technique. I have plans on getting a blues band together at the end of the summer and have been talking with some interested players. I think between us there are enough connections that getting out and playing at some local clubs and even opening for national acts isn't going to be a problem, but we'll see how long it takes to get things put together. Outside of that there's not a whole lot going on. I've been working on a number of SRV and Roscoe Beck covers, but more for personal gratification then anything.

Well, I've been quite busy working and I bought myself an own apartment just before Christmas so I don't have to think where to put all extra money for next 25 years. Smile Musicwise, I updated my amps and moved into rack gear but it still didn't make me any better player.... I'm disappointed.

What's up? I saw this local show last night, and man, I feel like quitting guitar. There was this AMAZING player there yesterday, and I really wish I could play that way. Also, I wish I had some better gear, but I can't afford anything, I have no money at all.

That's the way it normally goes, HotFire. If just had an extra $2500.00 right now I could pretty much get everything I want to replace replaced, but for the time being I'm flat *Horse's Patoot* broke!

I think the Admin should have a guitar give away, and give us all sweet new Ibanez guitars of our choice. Very Happy.

Better yet, a bass. It's 2 less strings he'd have to up for Wink . Of course, once he gets his Grammy he'll be on easy street anyway, so cost shouldn't be a factor.
