If you are referring to an electronic buzz and not fret buzz..
It could be that your string ground has a short in it somewhere.. _________________

Then I really suggest you take it in to a repair center.
If its under warranty it shouldnt cost you anything.
If not... it could ne a number of things from fret issues to set up to truss rod to warpage... _________________

These uestions are 5000 miles apart.
1st you say no elec buzz but fret buzz. now you say elec buzz.
I cant possible assess and diagnose the problem with out seeing the guitar and with these contradicting questions.
Perhaps you need to bring it to a shop.... _________________

Arguments..
I think you're over reacting a bit there cheif
Do this, unplug thre guitar and see if three is a buzz.. If there is.. then its likely fret buzz.
If there isnt and theres only buzz when its plugged in, then you have other problems.
Active electronics have so many possibilited for problems you will likley have to trace it down with a multimeter.
but first check to make sure the battery isnt dead, then make sure there are no loose wires or any wires touching each other... _________________

Sorry bout that..
Well, I think if the battery is dead that you get a buzz sound but not always. I have an Ibanez S2020X ith the LR Baggs piexo system and when the battery is dead there, I get no sound on that feature..
My ESP that I put an EMG 81 in lasts for years.
Ive had the same battery in that for 3-4 years now. I checked it and it was still good.
I was amazed.
But yes, genereally there will be a buzzing sound.
Let mus know what the problem ends up being _________________

Any 9 Volt Battery will do.
There are some music related batteries
that are supposed to last longer.. _________________
