Ibanez 2020 - Which year?

Hi all,
I've just found out this week that my old axe is an Ibanez 2020. I'm not sure if it's a 1968/69 or a 1970 model though. Is there any way of separating the years? The only other info I can supply is that the chrome back plate has the word "JAPAN" stamped on it.

I would be interested in a rough price guideline if I plan to sell it in the future.

If I am correct, your guitar is a 1971 model...
Perhaps built in 1970 but Ibanez isnt recorded of making strat copies until 1971.
Serial number Dating evolved in 1975 with A-L for month of production and the next 2 digits representing the year made and the last 4 production number made.

You can also do a pot check to see the ate the pot was made...

I actually cant confirm the model number at the present time..

I would est the value pending condition is around 600-900....
