|
|
I just bought a used Ibanez Electric Guitar for $399 w/case. At first glance it looked like an AR250 but the model# says AR200. The serial number is C7125317 and it says made in Korea. The guitar is in great shape and looks like it has barely been used. I am wondering if the guitar is worth what I paid for it and what year it was manufactured. I am assuming that it has the AH1/2 pickups but want to make sure. Does anyone know where I can locate this information?
Thanks.

i beleive that the year of manufacture is 1997
and the C represents made in Korea....
As for what you paid for it..
They seem to be selling in that price range ...
I think it is a bit too much but if it 'fits'
Dont sweat it _________________

Up until I bought an AR50 I had been shopping for Artists and it's been my experience that $400 is in the ball park. The AR250 are generally a little more but I've seen a few on EBay with $399 starting bids and $425 BIN w/o case.
And I know a store that just sold an AR200 for exactly $399 w/o case. |

Thanks for the info. I just found out that she only paid $350 with case, which sounds like a good deal considering the condition of the guitar.
I also purchased a Behringer Vintager AC112 to go with it. It sounded good and had "built-in" effects. Have you heard anything about this particular amp good or bad. Thanks again. If you are interested...I have pics.

| Behringer is the best bang for the buck (They are actually copies of other mfgers designs at 1/2 or 1/3 of the price...). I have the GM110 Vintager practice amp see www.ugf.cc review section on the GM110, for example. |
