i have two recommendations on customizing your guitar or ordering a new guitar. i have stumbled upon two sites that are worth taking some interest in. somethings the sites offer, though, do ruin the orignal guitar but they still are worth looking at:

I'm sorry, I like the more "classic classic" look, no sharp edges for me, thanks. _________________ ~Guitarjeff1112~

| wow, summa those guitars are amazing, i dunno if i cld live with having a metal plate on my guitar, its the sorta thing that one day id love and the next id be wondering why i ever did it. Dexter holland from the offspring has his ibanez with one of those diamond plates on it, looks pretty good, much better than noodles with tape on it neway! Ne1 had this sorta thing done to thier guitar? has it affected the sound much? |

yeah the metal plating is something i would regret doing being the reason i sed it would wreck your guitar, but hey its something of interest.
note: noodles' guitar isnt that bad looking _________________ Equipment:

570 you reminded me. james hetfield has one of his ESPs fully covered in metal plate and i didnt see anything wrong when i saw them at sanitarium. and wouldnt you think that if it destroyed the sound that the company wouldnt be doing so well/wouldnt exist? _________________ Equipment:

Did Dimebag have it on his guitar too? I think i saw a pix of it somewhere....It looks cool but i dont think i look great with it, but i kinda like malmsteen's mirror pickguard on his fender _________________ A good friend will bail you out of jail.....but a true friend will be sitting beside you, saying "Damm, that was fun!!!" |
