i bought my bass secondhand from a woman...she dealt mostly in guitars but happened to have this bass.. she didnt know anything about it. I played it and liked the way it played (very fast neck) and purchased it. She said she had had an offer for $500 so i haggled with her and ended up paying $450.
rundown: 4string, 22 frets, 25" neck
4 tuning controls... i've gathered they are: 1-volume, 2-balance,3- treble/ bass boost cut, 4-mid boost cut/ mid frequency
pointed headstock as the ibanez guitars have
japanese made, serial #F761390 on headstock back, active electronics, bolt on neck- neck is made of light wood... fretboard made of a darker, grainier wood..inlaid position markers are a somewhat lightning bolt shape, like those of ibanez guitars. Square body edges. I assume it still has the orginal pickups... all three of which say "REGULATED LO-Z" and "Ibanez". Its in pretty good condition, only a few very small cracks in the finish. looks to be 80's. IF you know anything... could you tell me please? id really like to know what in gods name this thing technically is. thanks for your time......

I posted Paid too
much.

You paid on the price that "she" said was offered..

You dont know what model it is but you bought it on her previous offer...

Sound slike a 1987 mode.
Possible an RG style bass but the 22 fret is confusing.

as pic is worth a 1000 words.

can you post them?

This will help determine more than just the year but model indicators.

I figured i probably paid more than i should've but i really like the way it played and figured i'd be spending that much anyway for a new bass (i was looking at a rick....i love the thin necks...and i knew i wanted active electronics so it seemed like a good idea.) sorry i cant post a pic just yet. Thanks for your help. When i do manage to get a pic ill post it. Thanks again.
