It's Saturday morning and I'm sittting here checking my mail when 'Rock n Roll Party in the Street' by a band called Axe comes on. For those of you that need an explanation...it's a one hit wonder by a band that was formed from the ashes of the classic rock band Babyface. For the most part they were a one hit wonder band, even though they did release 4 albums (dating myself with that term, I know). The song was kind of significant because it was one of the first songs that would later be defined as 80's hair band to actually make the charts. Anyway, it got me to thinking, what odd little nuggets of musical obscurity does everyone else enjoy? I'd be willing to bet VWall has some Twisted Sister stashed away on cassette somewhere that his wife doesn't even know about. Wink

It's saturday night, and after work, I came home to eat, then watch Pirates Of The Cariibean (*Holy Censor, Batman*, that chick is hot), and then listened to some good Toto. Needless to say, I know nothing of 80's rock. "Everybody's talkin' 'bout the new sound, funny, but it's still rock 'n roll to me." is the motto I have, and, apperenlty some guy named Billy Joel has been known to say it too.

(yes, that was a joke, and a long one at that.)
