retro - Pauls sound good, look good and after you've played them for a while, they feel good. But they're far from the most ergonomic guitar, I agree. Especially if you have smaller hands.

And I'll just have to keep you up to date on new metal guitars I find with NO Floyds. My ex-girlfriend (the same one who had the S470) got so sick of dealing with her Floyd, she actually started taking it into the shop to have the strings changed. She was THAT tired of it. It was the only thing about that guitar she didn't like, in fact. I've had friends who had Floyds and changing tunings mid-practice session is nearly impossible. I'll just reach up, adjust the tuners and away I go.... they have to switch guitars depending on which song we're doing. String breakage? Even worse...

Oh, well. I'm done with my rant now. Mr. Green There's only about 8 days until NAMM (I think). Of course, I can't go, but I'll be waiting for photos.... sooooo patiently.....

SRX - You're a bass player. As long as you enjoy playing. If you hate playing then I'd venture to say you are't a bass player. lol

Agent - Is your ex-girlfriend still using the S470? Maybe she should trade it in.. heh heh especially when those new Jacksons come out. I love MIJ guitars. (2nd only to usa, of course) lol

Yeah that reminds me is anybody here going to NAMM?

If anyone here is, I would GUESS it's vwall. The only people who go to NAMM are dealers, company representatives and people who are friends with them. It's hard to get passes, so if nobody here is going, I wouldn't be surprised.

Nah man, tickets aren't hard to come by. But unless I had mega bucks to spend I wouldn't torcher myself. I already have enough of a problem with G.A.S. and currently no budget to fund it, I can imagine what would happen with 4 days at NAMM.

lol... well, they're hard for ME to come by.

retrorocker - I think she still plays it when she can. She joined the Air Force and I'm not sure if her family was able to bring her her guitar on-base or not. If not, she'll have it as soon as she's out anyway.

Kinda late to be posting this, but I found this today...

*edit*

I also found myself humping my computer desk absent mindedly....the SZ720FMTG sure looks sweet boys.
