Strings :: long or regular?

ok so how do i know which strings to replace my old ones with? i have a GSR200. Question

Your average scale length is 34". They do make some higher end basses with 35" and 36" length scales. Your standard string set is for the 34" scale, which is what the 200 has. The longs are for the 35 and 36" scales. Hope this helps.
