|
|
Hi,
I just aquired a BTB405 5-string bass. Does anybody know what "BTB" stands for? Just curious... It's interesting that it has it's own logo but Ibanez doesn't explain why (or at least I couldn't find it).
I like the bass so far but haven't done much work with it yet.
Thanks! |

By the way, I'm not sure what it stands for. I've heard that it stands for "boutique bass" and I've also heard that it specifies the Bartolini pups. I'm not 100% sure, though. Either way, you have yourself a nice bass.
As far as Scott goes, I think someone needs to let him know they make 6 and 7 string basses, so any time he's ready to pick-up a real insturment... _________________ Some motherf*ckers are always trying to ice skate up hill. |

Thanks for the welcome and the info! This _is_ a nice bass and hard to believe that it sells for such a low price point. I had a little trouble setting it up, I think the previous owner messed with the treble side truss rod. I had to loosen it to eliminate some lower fret buzz. All is well now
I recorded a test song with it and was pleasantly surprised. Here's the results:

Just remember that this is a gear test and I'm not taking this song too seriously |
