purchased 3 yr old EDB 600, How does the active tone knobs work, low / med / hi...
it seems that the hi knob makes no change in tone when rotated...i guessing, bad pot, or is this common on the model? is there a shop that understands the workings of this model and can i get this repaired without shipping across country? Thanks for taking the time to read my message...chetr

If you go to the Ibanez official site Ibanez.com go to the INSTRUCTION MANUAL page, it has the printable picku selection, active Eq, and Colntrols pictorial guide it is very helpful to understanding the controls. There are 7 types listed SR: Vari-Mid, BTB: Vari-mid, VWB, GWB, ATK, EQBII, and the DWB

I think my bass is an older SG with the SR:vari-mid, it is an active system.
