What is better?

hi i am new here and i have a question i am getting a new bass and ive lloked at all the ibanez 5 string basses and i have narrowed it down to 2, the sr485 and the sr495 i want to know which one is better and i noticed they cost about the same i want someone to answer who has had experince with one or both of them or you can just giv me some advice

Mr. Krow - The 495 is a nice bass, but I'm not familiar with the 485. Sorry. By the way, welcome aboard.

The 495 is a nicer bass than the 485. (Please excuse my boldness on my first post, by the way). In fact, I don't think I've seen too many 485's, which should say one of two things... either it's a kickass bass and only a few were made (I think not), or that they weren't too popular.
