Im deciding on what 7 string to get. Right now im thinking about an rg7421XL. What do you guys think? I tune down so the xl neck would be good i guess. The floyd rose annoys me so i wouldnt have to deal with that. And i dont have a whole lot of cash. I play mostly korn and metallica.Should i get the 7421xl? any other suggestions?

well let me give you my recommedations I play in a korn tribute band and I own a K7 and a Ibanez RG7420 I personally cant see the difference in sound or looks or quality in any way apart from the lack of reference dots on the K7 and the 'K7' logo on the 12th fret I personally would go with the 7420 the floyd rose is excellent I haven't had any problems at all with it and the sound and playability is amazing so forget the pathetic standard tremolo and go with the 7420
