So, I and the fam have been on vacation for the last 3.5 weeks as some of you have noticed a lack of my presence...

well, 2 days ago, I cut my fretting hand pinky finger in half...

Had to go to the ER and get 3 stitches...

I was a major blessing that I still have my finger and that I didn't cut my digital nerves..

MAJOR!

Basically what happened was this:

I have a 20' ski boat that has a Gator Guide trolling motor on the bow so I can fish the banks.

Well, the release for the trolling motor was stuck and I didn't have any WD-40.. So I took out my 7 1/2" buck knife and proceeded to pry the latch on the trolling motor... No big deal as I've had to do it dozens of time..

Well, this time, I guess I was pulling very hard and the locking blade on the knife broke and the knife slammed closed on my pinky.. The only thing that stopped it was my bone...

It was very traumatic being that it happened to my pinky finger...

But after going to the ER and some prayer, the Dr. said everything was fine.
Which is amazing as the digital nerves should have been cut....

I was blessed!

So only two days after, I am able to play the guitar already and everything will be fine!!

Very Happy Very Happy

Just wanted to share and say how grateful I am

Peace!
