Hey folks,

I recently inherited an unused 6 string electric guitar - A Ibanez "Cimar". A rather lengthy search on the web has come up with nothing. I would just like a little background on it, and perhaps price evaluation? Is it Japanese?

You may have guessed that I know little about Ibanez.

Thanks

Cimar is kinda like the dirty offspring like Epiphone is to gibson today..

While it s gibson epiphone.. they are just epiphones, similarly, the case with Cimar Ibanez...

They were made in Japan in the 70's and 80's and were all low to low mid end guitars..

Some had mahogany bodies and i suppose while low end they had a decent sound from the wood...
