As I sit here trying to finish off the last half of the two liter diet coke i bought, and munching on last slice of the large pepperoni...i write. (oh btw, yes, it is true, Drainman, your everyday Bob of teeagers is actually sitting down to write after thinking of something.) Strange no? First of all, does everyone here older than I look down on my in pity because my "huge" horizons of music include only heavy and nu metal? Does anyone else feel the same way? I mean, I couldnt name more than 2 or 3 "old as vwall" bands . Am I deprived? Should I be shot?
Because so far, this is about all I listen to:
DISTURBED
Godsmack
Staind
Mudvayne
American Head Charge
System of a Down
Rob Zombie
P.O.D
Soulfly
Deftones
Hatebreed
Nine Inch Nails
Drowning Pool
Papa Roach
Linkin Park
Living Sacrifice
Doobie Brothers
I'm sorry if that seems completely meaningless and not worth posting a reply to. I'm just bored...very bored. Tends to happen when your monitered all the time cuz of SARS and all. So "im sitting in my room with a keyboard in my hands..."

locked and loaded SRXThunder!!!
I say its time to infiltrate and erradicate China of a 15 year old
Dont give up hope... the other one will drop soon enough
As for the bands you listed Ive listend to or heard of most of them but these:
American Head Charge
Hatebreed
Godsmack's new cd has a really good mix and alot of intensity which I like..
I even like Staind, lots of emotion...
I cant say i own any of the listed artists..
I more so listen once and a while to hear the new music.
I like alot of the sounds but theres no comparison to the bands i mentiond.
Different genre entirely.. heck, different millenium lol
(cept for the DB and 9" nails)
I pretty much just stick to listening to music of styles similar to how i play.
Malmsteen, satriani, Vai, Narnia, Vinnie moore and on and on...
So While I like the emotion and intensity of these mewer bands, i prefer the melodic beauty of songs that are mainly instrumental or songs with fluid solos in them.... _________________

Alright now, what didja mean by that one?
I dont know guys, the five minute guitar solos in the "oldies" really get to me. FFW....
anyway, vwall and srx, bring it on. I'm sure i can treat you to some really "nice chinese hospitallity".
ex. chinese water torture, chopping of the egg roles etc. etc.
nahh, the chinese are actually the nicest and most hospitable people ive ever met. i could travel the whole country without spending money if i wanted to.

I appreciate the offer, but Chineese upsets my stomache, and my life for that matter. She..nevermind. Anyway, the only way you'll get me there is if my wife divorces me. I've decided that if that happens I'm just gonna quit trying and get a mail order bride. _________________ Some motherf*ckers are always trying to ice skate up hill. |

Don't get me wrong, bro. I LOVE Chinese food. I was engaged to a little China doll for 5 years and I loved going to her parents house for dinner on the weekend. It was some of the best cooking I've ever had. I'm alergic to MSG, though. After weekend dinner at their house I would spend the next 2 days in the praying to the porcline god. In St. Louis lessons are running $15 per half hour, normaly 1 half hour lesson per week, and most places are requiring you pay one month in advance, so it's running about $60 on the first of every month for 4 lessons. _________________ Some motherf*ckers are always trying to ice skate up hill. |
