I'm a rookie with guitars
Now the question is: I've seen a rg270dx
is it a good guitar? Confused

I bought this guitar (in black color) and I love it!
The build quality and playability is very, very good. Ibanez doesn't lose quality even in its mid and low price models. The look is deadly.
The sound is quite good but not as it should be because of the powersound pick ups. Very good for this money range though. I replaced them with DiMarzios and now the guitar has a killer, snarling, hard rocking sound and very versatile.
My favourite guitar!

realize - the rg model is definetly a decent guitar for a "rookie" Wink

. It's a step above a lot of the Squiers and other entry level guitars out there. Good choice.
