OK, I am looking for a good On Line resource for 5 string bass theory. I know of several resources for 4 strings, but none for 5. I know there are really no differences, the same theory applies to all insturments, but I am not as solid in theory as I probably should be and I need something that has been formatted in direct reference to my insturment. I am speaking in relation to how scales and arppegios are laid out on the fretboard now that I have an extra string. Any direction would be appreiciated. Thanks. _________________ Some motherf*ckers are always trying to ice skate up hill. |

SRX,
How are they tuned ? Im not familiar with 5 strings, One octave arpegs usually cover two / three strings therefore it should be a case of extrapolation.
Not sure if there are any dedicated books, try typing 5 string bass theory into google. |
