The JS1000 is a great guitar, however, i prefer the JS-1. But that's only because i'm a bit lazy when it comes to changing frets hehe, the JS-1000 has a compound radius neck which feels just great after proper setup and the JS-1 has an ordinary neck. Radius neck means that every fret has it's own radius and would therefore take a lot longer time to refret. If you are not going to refret yourself, then it's no problem
The guitar is great, really one of the best ever made.. though a old roadstar in good shape can, after som work, become very close. And the price is far from those 1200
JS-guitars in general (exept some korean made) behave like babies.. so smooth and loveable, very special guitars.
If you buy it from china i hope you live there, or at least doesn't need to ship it by boat.. shipping by boat is why many korean-made guitars got bad reputation since the travel by boat makes some necks close to unusable. Make the shipping by other choise is my recommendation. |
