Does your wife use any of the mute pads? Here’s my problem, we moved into an apartment not to long ago and we’re on the 3rd floor. I set the wife’s drums up and went out and bought practice pads to go over the heads. Unfortunately that didn’t mute them enough and after a few complaints the set went into storage. I recently found this and thought it would be prefect for her. Click Here
However, one of the biggest noise makers is the freakin’ kick pedal. So, although the drums would be muted, there would still be thumping on my neighbors’ roof. Somewhere along the line I saw a floor pad. It served 2 purposes: 1.) Muting of the pedal. 2.) Non skid surface. I thought it was kind of a cool idea when I saw it, but didn’t think anything more of it. Now that I need it I can’t find it and all of the local music shops look at me like I’ve grown 2 heads when I ask about it. Would you or the wife have any clue as to what the hell I’m talking about or where I could find it? _________________ Some motherf*ckers are always trying to ice skate up hill. |
