|
I just purchased a used s470, and I want to replace the (crappy) Lo Trs bridge with an Edge model.
Is this an easy upgrade?
Has anyone done this before?
What is the suggested method?
Is it even worth my time?
Thanks for any input!

Good to know. So are you saying that the Edge trem would just drop in using existing pivot anchors? As far as parts go, what exactly would I need to purchase for this upgrade? Would I need to replace the locking nut as well? Finally, what do you have in stock (used is preferred, I'm on a budget)?
Thanks! |

funny..
i just sold all my used EDGE trems...
bad timing for you.. good forme..
cruel irony i guess...
You wouldnt need to change the nut out and i havent heard of any problems replacing the TRS with an Edge....
Its the same spacing etc.. ibanez just made a cheaper trem with poor knife edges on the mid level guitars..
If you want i can oder a new one. price is for a Reg Edge in chrome is 210.00 shipped for the full kit.
If you need just the trem alone without the springs anchors, posts, whammy bar its 200.00
