Drainman, was this the effects processor you're refering to?

Here are the specs on the two I was able to find in the price range you're looking at. http://www.alesis.com/products/new_products/index.html on this page it's the second item down.

http://www.digitech.com/products/rp50.htm This is the manufacturers page from the earlier link. The next step up is the RB100 and it's only $30 more. You may want to check that out while you're on the site as well. Unfortunatley, Boss and Line 6 don't make multi effects processors in that price range.

In my opinion, so take this for what it's worth, I think going with an effects processor in that price range is really going to leave you wanting more. You would be better off saving up and spending an extra $30 to $50 dollars on a good used set up, rather than buying one of these less expensive new ones. Normaly, the low end processors have very sterile sounding effects and have a several second delay switing from one effect to the next. That kind of bites when you have to keep switching from clean to overdrive during a song, but your processor gives a 2 second delay between the switches. Check out Scotts site, I know he had some stuff a few of the other members were looking at a week or two back. Like I said, just my opinion. Let me know if you need any more info.

Hey, everybody! I would like to say thanks for helping me out and all. I know from my programming forum that helping someone else out can be tedious. Confused I just found out that for my birthday im getting a new jampack. Its a fender but still. THAT ROCKS. Well, for me at least.

so thanks for being helpful, and making people feel welcome.

drainman

P.S. FSX i am looking into those websites. thanks.

Drainman - Have your parents look into this for your b-day, it's the same price as the Fender Jam Pack. http://www.americanmusical.com/item.asp?UID=2003030310420630&menu=&keyword=&item=IBA+IJS40+BK
