I am still a bit confused as to what this is. I checked with www.ibanezvintage.com and they state it is a purple neon DX. This was made in '92. It has the mirrored pickguard and hardware. Serial number F216517. My warranty card says RG550 DXPN..meaning perhaps DX purple neon? What confuses me is that the DX supposedly has a sharktooth inlay which mine doesn't. Also the back of my headstock only says RG 550. I await further confirmation from the experts out there. Thanks!
