Hi i'm Hans, i'l be 30 this December. Been playing guitar since 1986, i listen and play anything from pop to metal. But my main influence is still (progressive, melodic) metal.

I have two main guitars, a Jackson PS-4 (Neck-Duncan '59, Bridge-Bill Lawrence L-500) and an Ibanez S540 (Neck-Super 2, Bridge-Megadrive). Zoom 707II for effects and a peavey 30-watts for amps. Cool

Hey,

Caleb
17 as of the 30th. Woohoo.
I play hard core, nu metal and funky metal (if that's even a category)
I am the proud new owner of the RG1527.
My effects as of the moment, are the Boss DD-3 and NS-2, the Digitech Metal Master X, a Morley Little Alligator Volume pedal and a Zoom 505 II.
My amp is a chinese model 100 watt thing. It works pretty well.

Hi, I am Jack .... located in Columbus, Ohio USA .... age 51 ... been playing for about 35 years now.
I play guitar and sing lead vocals in the bluesrock band MLC PROJECT ... when I am not doing my engineering job.
Current Ibanez guitars are AS73, AFS75T, and a 1978 Starfield Les Paul Custom, all with D'Addario XL110W (wound 3rd).
Effects are from a BOSS ME-50 multi-box, piped through vintage Peavey Classic 212 amps (1978 and 1985 models).
Influences? Where would I begin? I started as a folkie...my heros were Woody Guthrie, The Kingston Trio, Chad Mitchell, Dylan, etc. In the early 70's I gravitated to rock and bluesrock. These days, it's a blend of all the people I've ever enjoyed.
I mostly play my AS73 on stage now....it suits me. Yes, last year's birthday present Fender Strat hangs on the wall in disuse...some day I'll trade it in on another Ibanez guitar which I'll use. I have been an Ibanez fan since buying my Starfield back in 1978. I've owned a lot of other makes, but keep coming back to Ibanez.

Jeff, currently 17
New Hampshire, USA
I play an S470 which actually was slightly flawed... and is now just a workhorse. I also have an Ovation Celebrity Deluxe for the sweeter sounds.

I was gone for quite a while... if any of you remember me from before.

jackie, 25.5
been playing since '93 or so
when not playing my basses (or wrenching on my trucks), i am an electrical (design) engineer, mainly doing firmware design in VHDL (with some software and hardware thrown in too).

this is my first post, so greetings all!

my first real bass was an ibanez (i still have it) and the ibanez bug bit me and hasn't given up yet.

as you can see from my sig, i am an ibanez freak (i do have 1 non-ibanez, a dean edge Q5)

i can also be found lurking here: http://www.uglybassplayer.com

Hi, everybody!

My name is Magnus Olsson (and I'm brand new to this place) from Sweden. I have played guitar for many years and I done it for a living in the last 8 of them.
I work with doing clinics for my sponsor, Ibanez, (are also sponsored by Dimarzio pickups) in Sweden and Denmark, but I also do around 150-200 gigs a year in all styles of music. I'm also doing plenty of session work.
But you can see who I am on my webpage and download some music, if you like.

Thanks for having me here!

Magnus

Thanks, man!

I don't know what a music searche is? The only forum I ever been at is the Petrucci one (and only for a few days).
I didn't know this stuff existed untill one of my students told me.
But I really like the idea of taking guitars and stuff.

I went to your page and there were loads of cool guitars, a shame that you are so far away Sad Crying or Very sad

You can see how I am at my webpage (if you feel like it).
Just click on the banner on my post.

Bets regards,

Magnus Olsson

I turned 17 August 20'th and got a Boss MT-2 Metalzone pedal, and I play an Ibanez Iceman(ICX120). Also, I have a Gemeni 1 Ampeg amp, I'm pretty sure its 1966 or something like that, its phat.
