Christmas request - whats a good amp 4 Ibanez RG270 guitar?

Hi guys,
Newbie here. I actually don't know much about guitars. I have a brother who is getting really big on playing his Ibanez RG270 electric guitar. He's been playing for about 1.5 years now. I want to get him a good full range amp for Christmas. I'm looking at a price range of $100-400. I could really use some recommendations. Thanks a lot guys.

Get him a Peavey Classic 30 or a Fender hot rod deluxe. Those are great amps.

Yeah, but I can't find any of those for under $400. All the ones I find that are close to $400 are used. What's a good full range amp for new under $400. I prefer to stick to $200-300 range, but I'm willing to go up to $400.

I'm currently Amp shopping too, here are the 2 I'm looking at that are probably in your range:

Carvin 112 Nomad: 50 Watts, Speaker slector swtich, 9 tubes, 1 year warranty

Pignose G-40VR (10 inch): 40 Watts, 5 tubes, small, light
