After playing fingerstyle on my Larrivee OM-3 six string acoustic for several years, I've decided to learn jazz guitar. I don't have a lot of money to spend, so I'm looking at used Ibanez Artcore archtops on eBay.

Besides the AFS75T having the tremolo bar, does anyone know if there are any major differences between the two models? Also, I haven't seen any jazz guitarists play a guitar with a tremolo thingy. Could that be easily removed if I don't need it?

Hi Jay
no difference between the guitars really besides the Trem.

I've actually picked up an orange AFS75 and installed a bigsby trem on it.
It's very easy to remove the trem and install another tailpiece since the trem is not attached to the body other than at the strap knob on the bottom.
