Hey there. I own a RG5EX-1 (charcoal) and have been very happy with it, but I'm tired of the slow volume knob. It's gruelingly slow.
There's no music shops are around here so I have to order them online and I want to make sure I get something that will work.
How do I go about finding some speed knobs that will fit it? Do I need a particular size to fit the shaft? Any tips for getting the old one off, without messing up the paint? It's on tight and there is no screw or anything, and I don't won't to break the shaft or chip the paint.
I think the guitar was a Guitar Center exclusive, as I have never seen them anywhere else.
